Description

Acrysol TT-615 25kg

ACRYSOL™ TT-615 (or PRIMAL™ TT-615) is a hydrophobically modified anionic, alkali-swellable acrylic emulsion (HASE) thickener, commonly used in water-based coatings.

It provides high low-shear viscosity, excellent sag resistance, and superior roller spatter resistance compared to cellulosic thickeners. It is widely used in high-build paints.

Key Features and Benefits
Rheology Profile: Creates a very pseudoplastic profile, providing high in-can structure.
Sag Resistance: Excellent sag resistance, making it suitable for textured finishes.
Application: Offers high low-shear viscosity, ideal for high-build architectural coatings.
Resistance: Provides resistance to microbial and enzymatic attack, unlike cellulosic thickeners.
Compatibility: Compatible with a wide range of water-based formulations.

Typical Applications
Architectural Coatings: Interior and exterior latex paints.
Textured Paints: Suitable for textured finish paints, providing high film build.
Industrial Coatings: Used in various industrial applications for viscosity modification.
Other: Suitable for traffic paints, concrete sealers, and inks.

Usage Guidelines
Neutralization: Requires neutralization to a pH of 7 to 10 to activate and achieve maximum viscosity.
Addition: Can be added during the letdown stage or in the pigment grind, notes.
Handling: It is a white, milky liquid with an acrylic odor.

It is highly effective in paint formulations needing high-build capability, excellent sag resistance, and low sag
