Mineral Oil (Heavy Liquid Paraffin) is a highly refined petroleum derivative used as a laxative, lubricant, cosmetic base, emollient, and industrial fluid, prized for creating barriers, moisturising skin, lubricating machinery, and as a release agent in plastics, but prolonged ingestion isn’t recommended due to potential vitamin absorption issues.
