Kulubrite 2 (2.3 µm) is an ultra-fine, white, floated calcium carbonate (CaCO₃) produced by Idwala Carbonates, primarily used as a functional filler and extender in industrial applications. It is characterised by high brightness, high purity, and excellent dispersion properties.

Key Uses of Kulubrite 2:
Paints & Coatings: Acts as a white pigment extender, improving opacity, whiteness, and durability in decorative and industrial coatings.
Plastics & Polymers: Enhances rigidity, surface finish, and impact resistance in plastic products, while reducing costs.

Our Floated dry calcium carbonate products contained in our Kulubrite product range have been beneficiated through floatation resulting in a brighter, high purity calcium carbonate with particle sizes ranging from 45 micron down to 0.6 micron.

These products are ultra-fine, white extenders with pigmentary properties and good dispersion.

They are used in the paint, chemical, ceramic, plastic and paper industries.
