It’s a corrosive but cost-effective source of chlorides, valuable for cleaning and activating metal surfaces.

Metal Treatment: Used in steel, aluminum, and magnesium processes for pickling (removing rust and scale), cleaning, and preparing surfaces for galvanizing and soldering.

Water Treatment: Controls and adjusts the pH of industrial wastewater and process water.
